Silent Auction Terms and Conditions

  2. To participate in bidding, each attendee must agree to all auction rules and regulations. By completing your registration for the event, you are agreeing to these regulations. Registration requires name, email, phone number and credit card details.
  3. Golden Grove Lutheran Church reserves the right to withdraw or add auction items without notice.
  4. All items have been valued to fair market value if known.
  5. Placing a bid confirms that you are making an offer to buy the advertised item/s at your bid price. All bids are final.
  6. The silent auction opening and close times are advertised with the item. Auctions may have an end phase in which additional bids are invited from qualifying bidders for a period of time after the publicised close time. Once the auction concludes, additional bids will not be accepted or valid.
  7. The highest qualifying bid, within the bidding guidelines, at the conclusion of the auction will be declared the winning bid for each item. In the case of tied highest bids, the first of the tied bids to be placed will be selected as the winning bid.  If a reserve price has been set for an item and the highest bid does not meet or exceed the reserve price, the organiser reserves the right to extend the auction or to not declare a winner, at its sole discretion.
  8. All transactions are final. Exchanges and refunds are not permitted. No item may be redeemed for cash. An item’s safety and security are the winning bidder’s responsibility once claimed.
  9. If your bid price is deemed to be the winning bid at the conclusion of the auction, you are obligated to purchase the item for the nominated bid price. The winner is responsible for ensuring that funds are avalable on the nominated credit card to pay for winning item/s.
  10. The successful bidder will be contacted within one business day of the auction closing to arrange payment and collection.
  11. The item/s can be collected from Golden Grove Lutheran Church Office during business hours.
  12. Vouchers and experiences have their own Terms and Conditions, including the voucher value, redemption instructions, block out periods and expiry dates.
  13. Winners agree to have their photo taken with their prize and to allow photos to be used in future promotions concerning the fete, auction, church and school. Permission to use photos may be withdrawn by advising the GGLC Office in writing.
